Sales of new motor vehicles in Alberta dipped in March from a year ago, according to data released on Monday by Statistics Canada.
The federal agency said there were 21,218 sales in the month, down from 22,546 in March 2017.
Total dollar volume of sales also dropped to $978 million from $993.8 million last year.
Throughout Canada, sales of new vehicles also fell slightly to 189,971 units compared with 190,744 in March 2017.
But total dollar volume rose from $7.5 billion last year to $7.9 billion this year.
